Experience

I am a college freshmen at Pomona College who is looking to help students get ahead this summer :) I love to work with children of all ages and believe every age group brings a different kind of experience fun to the tutoring sessions. I have the most experience with elementary school children, but am even better with middle and high schoolers (because the material and experiences they are going through are still so fresh in my head and I can relate more with them). Either way though, I feel confident and have experience with all age groups! One of my specialties is test prep for the ACT and SAT. Took both in high school and scored exceptionally well in both (99th percentile), and can help students achieve the same results. Attained good results with my clients last summer and hoping to do the same this summer as well. I have many references and a full resume is available upon contact. Understandably, although my price is lower than others, there may be concerns regarding my abilities as a tutor because of my age. I strongly believe my resume, contacts, sample study plans, and learning objectives will assuage those fears though. I have lots of experience and look forward to interviewing and creating a study plan with you and your student soon!
