I am currently in my credential program to become an elementary school teacher. The program I am in is preparing me to become a teacher for grades K-8. In addition to my current program, I have taken many course in how children learn and approach core subjects in my undergraduate work. I have take general mathematics for elementary school teachers as well as mathematics for elementary school students from a geometric and algebraic standpoint. I have taken classes about science for elementary schools students. Prior to my current teacher preparation program, I have taken many teacher education courses that have been focused on how children learn to read and learn to write. Over summer I worked for Cam Galileo as a Kindergarten science instructor and I am currently a student teacher in a Kindergarten class.

Hobbies
I have a huge array of interests AND I am constantly learning more. I am extremely into a wide array of sports, my favorite being hockey. I am a big science fan with an intense love of reading. I am extremely knowledgeable about popular children's shows and movies. Aside from working with children on a daily basis, I have 4 nieces and two nephews. I generally can take interest in any child likes and activities.
